Approximately:     1/3 of points from class participation and behavior

                               1/3 quizzes and tests (there are several open notebook

quizzes – keeping an organized accurate notebook is extremely important)

1/3 homework, current science news

Behavior

This is a learning environment.  You must behave in the ways you’ve been taught are appropriate in a classroom situation; this includes no talking when others are talking.  Respect is highly important to the class functioning well.

• a warning will be given for first offences, second offence will mean removal

from activity, third offence will initiate a call home.

I believe you will act appropriately and that our classroom experience will be very enjoyable for everyone.
