Superintendent's Message

The Southern Tioga School Board is investigating the options available regarding a Renovation Project scheduled for the North Penn and Blossburg Schools. The materials and data provided
on this website are being utilized by board members to assist in their decision making.
Currently, there are two major options being considered:
1. A complete renovation to both the elementary and high school or
2. Closing North Penn High School, renovating a K-8 elementary school in
Blossburg and consolidating students into two high schools; Liberty and Mansfield
Although these two options are receiving priority, all options and opportunities will be considered. It is expected that the school board will make a decision in February or March
of 2010.
We hope these web pages will provide the communities with accurate information and the site will be updated as needed. Please feel free to contact my office with any questions via phone
