LAPAT Minutes

President Cathleen Alexander called the meeting to order at 3:25. In attendance were Cathleen Alexander (president), Mya Sawyer (Vice President), Carolyn Moyer (treasurer), Lisa Williams (secretary).
Carolyn gave the treasurer’s report. There is a balance of $5,471.69.
Old Business:
The Mobile Ag. Ed. Lab completed its visit at the school the first week of January. Mr. Lindner would like to see it come back next year. A discussion ensued if we should budget funds for it. $50.00 was donated toward the cost by Citizens and Northern Bank.
The transfer of Boxtops for Education has been made by Pam Thomas into LAPAT’s name. The collection of Boxtops is soon.
Wolfgang kickoff is February 3.. Orders are to be turned in February 16th. A goal of $5000.00 was set. A letter to encourage parents that this is our primary fundraiser was drafted by Carolyn and will go home on February 8th.
Cathleen will ask Gail if a hard copy of the newsletter and menu can go home with one student per family.

Battle of the Books team requested $35.00 for its registration fee.
A gift certificate for crickets to feed the frogs was made.
A motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:00 was made by Carolyn Moyer and seconded by Mya Sawyer.
