Title I is a 100% federally funded program. In Southern Tioga, Title I provides funds to support students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. The Title I program focuses on students who need interventions in academics. Assessment results are used to target students for the program. Mrs. Williams is an embedded Title I teacher in fourth and fifth grades. Mrs. Piquero works with K-3 students. Parent invovlement is a key component of the Title I program. Maintaining a strong connection between school and home is our greatest goal.
