Welcome to Mansfield Junior Senior High School, Home of the Tigers. 

Mansfield Junior Senior High School (MJSHS) is a comprehensive high school which includes grades seven through twelve.  We are the most northern school in the Southern Tioga School District, and our school population is about 540 students. 

 Our outstanding staff works with students to make their high school career a successful one.  We offer a wide range of academic offerings within our career pathways models.  Some of our students enjoy programming in the Dual Enrollment Program with Mansfield University, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, or the School-to-Work Program.  Many of our students are awarded scholarships to various schools of higher education. 

Students at Mansfield Junior Senior High School are constantly immersed into a technological educational environment.  The professionals and students of our school use technology daily to enhance student learning; laptops, interactive whiteboards, LCD projectors, and Web 2.0 tools of our technological world.  The Mansfield Junior Senior High School staff receives much professional development to help prepare our students to become productive members of our global society.

Due to the proximity of our school to Mansfield University, our staff and students enjoy an awesome relationship with the various academic departments’ professors of the University.

Many of our students are musically talented; therefore MJSHS has many music programs, both vocal and instrumental. Some of the offerings include the parade marching band, chorus, jazz band, wind ensemble, Men’s Ensemble, and Jubilations.  Many awards and honors from the regional, district, and state level, have been bestowed on our music program. 

Our extracurricular offerings are numerous and varied to meet the requests of our students.  Student Council is a very active extracurricular activity at MJSHS; they help school spirit flourish by organizing multiple assemblies through out the year.  The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students continue to achieve at their competitions; at regional, state, and national events.  Our Odyssey of the Mind team has been successful.  Service organizations such as Key Club and National Honor Society are very active in our school and community.  Each winter, our ski club is very lively.  The International Club is busy organizing for the trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2009.

Athletically, Mansfield Junior Senior High School offers 29 sports, which include Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity level.  Recently, many Northern Tier League and District IV championships have been won by our athletic teams; winning these championships rewards our student-athletes to compete into state-level play.  Many of our student-athletes have been successful playing their respective sports at their chosen institution of higher education.

Mansfield Junior Senior High School students and staff are very fortunate to have exceptional support from our community; they proudly display their navy blue and Vegas gold and always have TIGER PRIDE.
