MINUTES: BOARD OF EDUCATION–December 3, 2007
The reorganizational meeting of the Board of Education was called to order by Past President, Barbara Shull, with the following members present: Susan Jaquish, Roxanne Landis, Frank Kollar, Terry Osborne, Ivan Erway, Gloria Schwab, and Dan Berguson.
Also present were Messrs: Kalata, Rakoski, Lindner, Barton, David, Mrs. Crowell, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Sargent, Mrs. Drabick, Mrs. Freeman and interested teachers and citizens.
Terry Osborne was nominated to serve as temporary president to conduct the election of Board Officers. On motion of Mrs. Landis and second of Mrs. Jaquish the nominations were closed by a vote of 9 to 0, with Mr. Osborne elected as Temporary President.
Mr. Osborne read the “Certificate of Election” of Roxanne Landis, Dan Berguson, Ivan Erway, J. Stuart Crossen, and Gloria Schwab and administered the oath of office.
On motion of Mrs. Jaquish and second of Mrs. Landis, Barbara Shull was nominated to serve as President. Hearing no additional nominations the Board voted 9 to 0 to elect Ms. Shull.
On motion of Ms. Shull and second of Mrs. Schwab, Ivan Erway was nominated to serve as Vice President. Hearing no additional nominations the Board voted 9 to 0 to elect Mr. Erway.
On motion of Mr. Kollar and second of Mr. Berguson the Board voted 9 to 0 to adjourn the meeting.
