For several years I have invited the student body to help me choose the first, second and third place winning turkeys by voting with "cents."  A penny equals one vote, a quarter equals 25 votes and so on.  This year five Family Turkeys brought in more than ten dollars worth of votes. 

So, it was decided that certificates should be given for the

top 5 places.  Additionally, each student who participated earned a one-of-a-kind ribbon, a prize and a HUGE round of applause!

All proceeds were donated to the local food pantry. 

This year the project raised $240.50.
