Click here to investigate each planet of our Solar System. Read each planet’s information carefully. As you read, click on the highlighted words and read the definitions. Write the definitions for words listed in your space journal.

Once you have read about all nine planets, select your favorite. Then go back and re-read about that planet and take notes in your space journal. Make a list of your planet’s special characteristics as your teacher has already done for Earth.
Now you will be ready to compare/contrast your planet with Earth. Create a list of similarities and differences. Use your list to write an essay comparing the 2 planets.
