Living History
If you had been in Liberty, PA on April 17, 2009 you would have thought that you had been transported back in time! Abe Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Harriet Tubman and many other characters from American history appeared on stage at the LHS auditorium when the 5th grade classes gave their annual Living History performance at the Liberty High School auditorium.
The project was eagerly anticipated by the 5th grade students as they chose a character to research. They then wrote a speech based upon the important events in the life of their character, created a power point depicting important events, and dressed in clothing that was typical of the time period in which the character lived. The students did a tremendous job.
