Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements from Mansfield high school are as follows:

  • 4.0 credits English
  • 4.0 credits Social Studies
  • 4.0 credits Mathematics
  • 4.0 credits Science
  • 2.0 credits Communications
  • 1.0 World Language
  • 3.0 Health & Physical Education
  • 1.0 credit Community Service
  • 7.0 credits Electives

AP Courses will be available to students who are juniors and seniors.  For the academic year 2009-10 - AP Calculus AB, AP English, and AP Government will be offered at Mansfield High School

Dual Enrollment with Mansfield University is available for juniors and senior in good academic standing.  Enrollment should take place in the spring and fall prior to the semester the student plans to attend. 

School to Work opportunities are available for students who are seniors that are interested in learning job skills that will serve them in the transition to jobs and careers after high school.  This monitored activity can take place during the school day and successful completion can count towards elective credit.  Additionally students can also participate in internships and job shadows.
