What is it? An opportunity to meet with representatives from technical schools, four year colleges,  two year colleges, business schools and military recruiters.

What does it cost? Free and available to the public

 Keystone Boys State

What is it?  A week long educational opportunity that allows boys to participate in a program that introduces students to the procedures and operations of the various branches of city, county, and state legislature.  Political parties are formed and conventions are convened. 

When is it?  June 26 - July 2, 2011

Where is it?  Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA

What does it cost? Free to student citizens.  American Legion Post pays the tuition.

 Pennsylvania State Police Youth Week

What is it?  A six day boot camp for students interested in going into law enforcement or the armed forces.  Trainings will include, self-defense, forensics, SWAT team, riot control, radar, and familiarity with weapons.  THIS IS NOT A RECREATIONAL CAMP.   Students ages 15 by the start of camp and not yet 18 by the end of camp may attend.

When is it?  June 12-18, 2011

Where is it?  York College of Pennsylvania, York, PA

What does it cost?  $150.00

Summer Science Splash

What is it?  a week long residential camp for students entering grades 7,8,9 interested in Science, Techonology, and Engineering.

When is it?  choose from three week long sessions starting July 17 and ending August 5, 2011

Where is it?  Juniata College campus in Huntingdon, PA

What does it cost? $230 - includes meals, lodging, snacks, and activities

Health Careers Camp - Pennsylvania College of Technology

What is it?   A two day camp that allows students entering grades 9-12 to learn about a variety of health careers through observation and participation in hands on activities.

When is it?  June 15 and 16, 2011 (students will stay over one night)

Where is it?  Pennsylvania College of Techonology in Williamsport, PA

What does it cost? $50 - covers lodging, meals and workshops

 PFEW - Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week

 What is it?  -  a 7 day camp experience for 10th and 11th grade students interested in any/all 

   aspects of free enterprise.  (business, design, marketing, logistics, etc)

  When is it?  -  Weeks of July 10- August 13, 2011 (4 one-week options available)

  Where is it?  -  Lycoming College Campus or Penn College Campus

  What does it cost?  -  $235

Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative Youth Tour

   What is it? - A week long all expenses paid trip to Washington D.C. for juniors who are

    members of the tri-county rural electric cooperative.

   When is it? - June 12-17

   Where is it? - Washington D.C.

   What does it cost? - FREE!

   Registration deadine is February 25, 2011.
