Baroque Composer Project Directions:

Thursday, 10/8

Your assignment for today is to get all of the rest of your information that you need for your presentation.

You will only have today to get the information, so please work hard :)  After today we will begin compiling

your project and using PhotoStory to make it really interesting.  Make sure you have at least 5-10 pictures

for your project.  To save your pictures:

1.  Create a folder with your name on it in "My Pictures"

2.  Right click on the picture you want to save, and save it into that folder.

How to do good research:

1.  Go to one of the sites on the bottom of your paper and look up the piece of

        information you would like to find.

2.  Once you find the information, write it down in YOUR WORDS so you are

        plagiarizing, (you can put your words into a Word doc) and then

        copy the URL (web address) where you got the information onto the word doc.

3.  Once you find all of your information, talk to your other team mates and figure out

       what order you are going to say the information in.

4.  Save your work!!!

- Texture in music

-Reading rhythms and learning how to read music 'in time'

- Notes on the musical staff

- Parts of the guitar

- Playing guitar using the staff
