Welcome to Music Appreciation Class! We will be creating podcasts, working on rhythm, melody, notes, and style, and getting to appreciate a wide variety of music by listening every day!
Five Moods Project: TheUsing music and pictures or video, students were to share with the class five songs that put them in a certain mood or gave them a particular emotion. The class then had to try and figure out what 'Mood' the student was trying to show.

First Podcast Assignment Our first technology assignment was to create a 'podcast' about anything at all. The students could literally pick any subject to write about and here's some of the stuff they came up with. Click to listen, or right click to save.
Stomp Project: The class took every day items such as pots and pans, spoons, notebooks, etc., and made a rhythm band out of it. The final project was to be played by the group for the rest of the class. Here are some examples of what we came up with.
Second Podcast Assignment The second assignment was to either create a compilation of songs based on any theme and put them together in a way that makes sense, OR to create a 'techno' version of any song. Here are a couple of jobs well done!
