On March 7, 2019, the PA Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) announced its 2019-20 election results during the 64th Annual Conference and Exhibits in Hershey. Kathy Ciaciulli, PCSBA, Business Manager/Board Secretary for Southern Tioga School District was elected to the Board of Directors as one of four newly elected representatives.
Ciaciulli has been an administrator at the Southern Tioga School District for the past six years and has served in the field of education management for 12 years. In addition to now serving on the Board, Ciaciulli has also served on the Human Resources Committee and as the chair of the Legislative Committee for PASBO.
“I’ve had a wonderful experience with PASBO and look forward to the opportunity to give back,” said Ciaciulli. “PASBO has provided the best resources, professional development, and other supports to the various branches of school operations and I am excited to continue learning and working with them.”
PASBO members wishing to serve on the Board of Directors do so without compensation from PASBO and in addition to fulfilling the obligations of their regular school employment. Ciaciulli will begin her three-year term on July 1, 2019.
The Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) is a statewide organization with more than 3,000 members, two-thirds of whom are K-12 non-instructional administrators serving in the areas of finance, accounting, facilities, transportation, food service, technology, communications, human resources, purchasing and safety. PASBO’s mission is to develop and support leaders in school business operations by focusing on educating its members through professional development opportunities as well as keeping them informed of the latest legislative issues affecting school business through workshops, an annual conference, specialty conferences and publications.
