This is just a reminder that on Thursday, May 31, we will operate on an early dismissal schedule.
We wish all of our students and families a safe and relaxing summer break! Be sure to read and spend lots of quality time together, and we will see you again in the fall very soon!
There are only 82 days until the first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year!
Grade 6 Promotion Ceremony
LES grade 6 students participated in a promotion ceremony today to recognize their leaving of the elementary school and entry into the high school.
Students, parents, staff members, and community members honored the sixth graders who are a very special group of young people. They are a group of leaders who have learned to work together to overcome challenges, and they have been role models for the younger students at the elementary.
Good luck to our grade 6 students in junior high school! We will miss the Class of 2024!
Students from each grade with the most monetary #RFE donations was treated with a special lunch with LibertyElementarySchool Principal Mr. Eglesia at The Landing Strip Family Restaurant on Thursday, May 24, 2018 sponsored by LAPAT-Liberty Area Partnership Action Team. These students had a great time talking, having lunch and spending time with their Principal!!
Thank you again to all who participated, donated and volunteered their time in making #RaceForEducation2018 a success.!!
NP-LHS Greenhouse will be open Friday 2:30-4:30 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. The horticulture kids grew all the plants in this greenhouse. Please come out and support the students. The only way the greenhouse stays open is through the plants they sell.
It has been a very awesome week at Liberty Elementary School. We have been having some wonderful events. Kindergarten treated us to a play, the Spanish 3 class did some activities with the third grade, and we had a fun field day.
