Welcome to North Penn – Liberty Jr./Sr. High School’s website!

We are a grades 7 through 12 school with approximately 320 students from Blossburg, Liberty and surrounding areas.

We are learner-driven and dedicated to our students’ success within the classroom and beyond.  In addition to students and families working with classroom teachers as a team, each student is assigned a faculty adviser who regularly communicates with the student and family regarding academic progress as well as any other needs that the student may be experiencing. This approach helps to establish a formalized liaison and advocate for each student in the school.

NPL offers a core academic curriculum in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and health/physical education. Outside of the core, students have access to courses in Spanish, art, music, agricultural science, business education, technical education, and family and consumer sciences. We also offer advanced level courses and have partnerships with Mansfield University, Penn College, and Corning Community College offering several dual enrollment courses so that students can earn high school and college credit at the same time. This exposes them to challenging coursework and saves them time and money as they look to continue their education beyond high school.

We also offer numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students.  The Southern Tioga FFA, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and Student Council are extremely active within the school and community, and students can also participate in soccer, volleyball, tennis, cross-country, football, wrestling, basketball, softball and baseball, and track.  Our Southern Tioga Area Bowhunters club is especially popular with the student body. In addition to these, we have numerous informal activities available for students during our daily Flex Period in the middle of the day.  Some of these activities include MakerSpace, LA Cafe, and STEM. It is our intent to truly offer something for everyone.

Please use the website to become more familiar with the school. As always, feel free to call, email, or visit with any questions that you may have.
