MTSS Coordinator

This position is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position expected to exist through the 2023-2024 school year.  

The Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS) Coordinator will work with the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services and the Curriculum Coordinator to develop, implement and monitor the district’s Multi-Tier System of Support framework. The Coordinator will train and support site-based Intervention Specialists as well as classroom teachers in the implementation of interventions, facilitate and guide site-based data teams, and monitor and report on the progress of MTSS implementation across the District. 

  • Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Operational knowledge of data collection, management, and analysis
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field of public school education
  • Criminal background check required for hire.
  •  Valid driver’s license


Intervention Specialist (Interventionist)

 This position is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded position expected to exist through the 2023-2024 school year.  

The MTSS Intervention Specialists will work with the MTSS Coordinator to implement early intervention strategies in grade K-8 to support identified at-risk, general education students within elementary and/or high school buildings. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • PDE Teaching certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of Positive Behavior Support systems
  • Willingness to develop knowledge of academic and behavioral strategies for struggling students Willingness to develop ability to track and analyze student data
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely in written and oral communication a must
  • Criminal background check required for hire
