At W.L. Miller, we consider our school to be a community of learners. Our staff believes that it is our responsibility to create an environment in which students and adults learn collaboratively in a safe, responsible and respectful environment.
Warren L. Miller Elementary School prides itself on providing many activities for our students, including: Band,Chorus, Miller Singers, Battle of the Books and Student Council. Through our Library-Media space our students have the opportunity to create, build, invent, 3D print and learn to code.
Our school is enriched and our students’ experiences enhanced through our partnerships with families and community members. We place a high value on those partnerships and have many opportunities for families and community members to get involved in our programs. Our school, with the help of our community, has a nature trail, a pollinator garden and a vegetable garden.
We encourage families to visit the school, communicate with the staff and participate in school functions. Throughout the school year we host family engagement nights that allow us to build the relationship with families while having fun. We invite you to become an active member in our Parent-Teacher Organization. Our PTO plays an important role in helping to support our field trips, playground improvements, as well as various other projects in the school.
